The Protestor Legal Information Clinic was created in September 2019. Its mission is to help environmental and social justice activists facing legal problems generated by protest actions. It is a collaboration between the McGill Corporate Accountability Project and McGill Law Climate Justice.
At present, PLIC conducts legal research for lawyers in support of its mission. In the future, the goal of the project is to create a permanent legal clinic supporting its mission with probono lawyers supervising.
